Hi, I am Hyunjoo Ahn, esq.
I am a lawyer with two law licenses - one from Korea and the other from Connecticut, US.
I have completed my law school in Korea, passed the bar, and worked as a trade lawyer for 3 years at Korean government.
Then, I moved to the US and went back to law school.
I studied at NYU for my LLM (advanced law degree) and at University of Connecticut School of Law for my JD.
I am also admitted to Connecticut bar association to practice US federal law and Connecticut state law.
Now I am located in Gwangju, Korea and run my solo practice.
My practice area includes civil, criminal, administrative, and family matters in Korean law and US immigration laws.
I often work with foreign residents in Korea. Since I have lived in the States for over 14 years as a foreigner myself, being foreign is close to my heart. I understand the hardship, confusion and sometimes the frustration that foreign residents experience in Korea.
Please feel free to contact me via email or phonecall.
I look forward to assisting you in any legal issues you may have.
Thanks.
